In 2017, the Diocese of Phoenix invited Dr. Mary Ruth to begin a parenting podcast, and the Parenting Smarts Podcast was born. The Podcast brings together the science of child development and the realities of practical family life. In each episode, we explore a psychological construct or developmental science concept and apply it to practical parenting. Dr. Mary Ruth’s goal is to help the listener come to a deeper understanding of how we all naturally grow and develop.
